⁵ Then I acknowledged my sin to you
    and did not cover up my iniquity.^(A)
I said, “I will confess^(B)
    my transgressions^(C) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.^(D)

¹⁰ he does not treat us as our sins deserve^(A)
    or repay us according to our iniquities.
¹¹ For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his love^(B) for those who fear him;^(C)
12 as far as the east is from the west,
    so far has he removed our transgressions^(D) from us.
