Psalm 2:2-10

New International Version

⁴ The One enthroned^(E) in heaven laughs;^(F)
    the Lord scoffs at them.
⁵ He rebukes them in his anger^(G)
    and terrifies them in his wrath,^(H) saying,
⁶ “I have installed my king^(I)
    on Zion,^(J) my holy mountain.^(K)”

He said to me, “You are my son;^(L)
    today I have become your father.^(M)
8 Ask me,
    and I will make the nations^(N) your inheritance,^(O)
    the ends of the earth^(P) your possession.
⁹ You will break them with a rod of iron^[a];^(Q)
    you will dash them to pieces^(R) like pottery.^(S)”

¹⁰ Therefore, you kings, be wise;^(T)
    be warned, you rulers^(U) of the earth.
