One generation(A) commends your works to another;
    they tell(B) of your mighty acts.(C)
They speak of the glorious splendor(D) of your majesty—
    and I will meditate on your wonderful works.[a](E)

They celebrate your abundant goodness(J)
    and joyfully sing(K) of your righteousness.(L)

The Lord is gracious and compassionate,(M)
    slow to anger and rich in love.(N)

The Lord is good(O) to all;
    he has compassion(P) on all he has made.
10 All your works praise you,(Q) Lord;
    your faithful people extol(R) you.(S)
11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom(T)
    and speak of your might,(U)
12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts(V)
    and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.(W)
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,(X)
    and your dominion endures through all generations.

The Lord is trustworthy(Y) in all he promises(Z)
    and faithful in all he does.[b]
