Psalm 143:7-12

⁷ Answer me quickly,^(A) Lord;
    my spirit fails.^(B)
Do not hide your face^(C) from me
    or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
⁸ Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,^(D)
    for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way^(E) I should go,
    for to you I entrust my life.^(F)
9 Rescue me^(G) from my enemies,^(H) Lord,
    for I hide myself in you.
¹⁰ Teach me^(I) to do your will,
    for you are my God;^(J)
may your good Spirit
    lead^(K) me on level ground.^(L)

¹¹ For your name’s sake,^(M) Lord, preserve my life;^(N)
    in your righteousness,^(O) bring me out of trouble.
¹² In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;^(P)
    destroy all my foes,^(Q)
    for I am your servant.^(R)
