13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy power: thou brakest the heads of the [a]dragons in the waters.
14 Thou brakest the head of [b]Leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be [c]meat for the people in wilderness.
15 Thou brakest up the fountain and river: thou driest up mighty rivers.

13 It was you who split open the sea(A) by your power;

14 It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan(C)
and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.(D)
15 It was you who opened up springs(E) and streams;
you dried up(F) the ever-flowing rivers.
