Blessed is the one
    whose sin the Lord does not count against them(A)
    and in whose spirit is no deceit.(B)

When I kept silent,(C)
    my bones wasted away(D)
    through my groaning(E) all day long.
For day and night
    your hand was heavy(F) on me;
my strength was sapped(G)
    as in the heat of summer.[a]

Then I acknowledged my sin to you
    and did not cover up my iniquity.(H)
I said, “I will confess(I)
    my transgressions(J) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.(K)
