¹³ I remain confident of this:
    I will see the goodness of the Lord^(A)
    in the land of the living.^(B)
14 Wait^(C) for the Lord;
    be strong^(D) and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.

⁷ Be still^(A) before the Lord
    and wait patiently^(B) for him;
do not fret^(C) when people succeed in their ways,^(D)
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.^(E)

⁹ For those who are evil will be destroyed,^(A)
    but those who hope^(B) in the Lord will inherit the land.^(C)
