¹²^(A)Give me not up to the will of my adversaries;
for ^(B)false witnesses have risen against me,
and they ^(C)breathe out violence.

¹²Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses^(A) rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.

¹¹^(A)Malicious^[a] witnesses rise up;
they ask me of things that I do not know.

¹¹Ruthless witnesses^(A) come forward;
they question me on things I know nothing about.
