7 The law of the Lord(A) is perfect,(B)
refreshing the soul.(C)
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,(D)
making wise the simple.(E)
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,(F)
giving joy(G) to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.(H)
9 The fear of the Lord(I) is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.(J)
