    and fall into the hole that they have made.^(A)
16 Their mischief returns upon their own heads,

and let the net that they hid ensnare them;
    let them fall in it—to their ruin.^(A)

⁸ Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity,
    and the rod of anger will fail.^(A)

²² The iniquities of the wicked ensnare them,
    and they are caught in the coils of their sin.^(A)

²³ He will repay them for their iniquity
    and wipe them out for their wickedness;
    the Lord our God will wipe them out.^(A)

¹⁵ their sword shall enter their own heart,
    and their bows shall be broken.^(A)
