¹⁴ And he sent out his ^(A)arrows and scattered them;
    he flashed forth lightnings and ^(B)routed them.

^6 (A)Flash forth the lightning and scatter them;
    ^(B)send out your arrows and rout them!

^11 (A)The sun and moon stood still in their place
    ^(B)at the light of your arrows as they sped,
    at the flash of your glittering spear.

¹⁷ The clouds poured out water;
    the skies ^(A)gave forth thunder;
    your ^(B)arrows flashed on every side.

⁴ For ^(A)the arrows of the Almighty are in me;
    my spirit drinks their poison;
    the terrors of God are arrayed against me.

⁴² I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
    and ^(A)my sword shall devour flesh—
with the blood of the slain and the captives,
    from the ^(B)long-haired heads of the enemy.’
