^5 (A)Uphold my steps in Your paths,
That my footsteps may not slip.

¹⁸ Our heart has not turned back,
^(A)Nor have our steps departed from Your way;

³⁶ You enlarged my path under me,
^(A)So my feet did not slip.

^133 (A)Direct my steps by Your word,
And ^(B)let no iniquity have dominion over me.

¹⁶ For I said, “Hear me, lest they rejoice over me,
Lest, when my foot slips, they exalt themselves against me.”

^9 (A)He will guard the feet of His saints,
But the ^(B)wicked shall be silent in darkness.

¹¹⁶ Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live;
And do not let me ^(A)be ashamed of my hope.
^117 [a]Hold me up, and I shall be safe,
And I shall observe Your statutes continually.
