⁴ For the Lord takes delight^(A) in his people;
    he crowns the humble with victory.^(B)

¹¹ the Lord delights^(A) in those who fear him,^(B)
    who put their hope^(C) in his unfailing love.^(D)

²⁷ May those who delight in my vindication^(A)
    shout for joy^(B) and gladness;
may they always say, “The Lord be exalted,
    who delights^(C) in the well-being of his servant.”^(D)

¹⁶ I will clothe her priests^(A) with salvation,
    and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.^(B)

¹⁷ The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.^(A)
He will take great delight^(B) in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,^(C)
    but will rejoice over you with singing.”^(D)

²⁰ The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse,^(A)
    but he delights^(B) in those whose ways are blameless.^(C)

⁸ “He trusts in the Lord,” they say,
    “let the Lord rescue him.^(A)
Let him deliver him,^(B)
    since he delights^(C) in him.”
