⁵ Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    for he commanded and they were created.^(A)

¹¹ “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
    to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
    and by your will they existed and were created.”^(A)

⁶ By the word of the Lord the heavens were made
    and all their host by the breath of his mouth.^(A)
7 He gathered the waters of the sea as in a bottle;
    he put the deeps in storehouses.

⁸ Let all the earth fear the Lord;
    let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him,^(B)
9 for he spoke, and it came to be;
    he commanded, and it stood firm.^(C)

¹² It is he who made the earth by his power,
    who established the world by his wisdom
    and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.^(B)
13 When he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens,
    and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth.
He makes lightning for the rain
    and brings out the wind from his storehouses.^(C)
