¹⁸ He sends his word^(A) and melts them;
    he stirs up his breezes,^(B) and the waters flow.

¹⁵ He sends his command^(A) to the earth;
    his word runs^(B) swiftly.

⁹ For he spoke, and it came to be;
    he commanded,^(A) and it stood firm.

¹⁰ The breath of God produces ice,
    and the broad waters become frozen.^(A)

¹⁶ when darkened by thawing ice
    and swollen with melting snow,^(A)
17 but that stop flowing in the dry season,
    and in the heat^(B) vanish from their channels.

²⁰ He sent out his word^(A) and healed them;^(B)
    he rescued^(C) them from the grave.^(D)
