⁷ Though I walk^(A) in the midst of trouble,
    you preserve my life.^(B)
You stretch out your hand^(C) against the anger of my foes;^(D)
    with your right hand^(E) you save me.^(F)

¹⁰ So do not fear,^(A) for I am with you;^(B)
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen^(C) you and help^(D) you;
    I will uphold you^(E) with my righteous right hand.^(F)

²⁰ Though you have made me see troubles,^(A)
    many and bitter,
    you will restore^(B) my life again;
from the depths of the earth^(C)
    you will again bring me up.
²¹ You will increase my honor^(D)
    and comfort^(E) me once more.

²⁵ Therefore the Lord’s anger^(A) burns against his people;
    his hand is raised and he strikes them down.
The mountains shake,^(B)
    and the dead bodies^(C) are like refuse^(D) in the streets.^(E)

Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away,^(F)
    his hand is still upraised.^(G)

⁶ Will you not revive^(A) us again,
    that your people may rejoice^(B) in you?

²⁵ “I am against^(A) you, you destroying mountain,
    you who destroy the whole earth,”^(B)
declares the Lord.
“I will stretch out my hand^(C) against you,
    roll you off the cliffs,
    and make you a burned-out mountain.^(D)
