² how he swore to the Lord
    and ^(A)vowed to ^(B)the Mighty One of Jacob,

²⁴ yet ^(A)his bow remained unmoved;
    his arms^[a] were made agile
by the hands of the ^(B)Mighty One of Jacob
    (from there is ^(C)the Shepherd,^{[b] (D)}the Stone of Israel),

^16 (A)You shall suck the milk of nations;
    you shall nurse at the breast of kings;
and you shall know that ^(B)I, the Lord, am your Savior
    and your Redeemer, ^(C)the Mighty One of Jacob.

^26 (A)I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh,
    and they shall be drunk ^(B)with their own blood as with wine.
Then all flesh shall know
    that ^(C)I am the Lord your Savior,
    and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

⁵ until I ^(A)find a place for the Lord,
    a dwelling place for ^(B)the Mighty One of Jacob.”

¹⁰⁶ I have ^(A)sworn an oath and confirmed it,
    to keep your ^(B)righteous rules.

¹⁴ I will ^(A)pay my vows to the Lord
    in the presence of all his people.
