² Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
^(A)So our eyes look to the Lord our God,
Until He has mercy on us.

^15 (A)My eyes are ever toward the Lord,
For He shall ^[a]pluck my feet out of the net.

40 I ^(B)waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
² He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of ^(C)the miry clay,
And ^(D)set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.

Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

^18 (A)I have waited for your salvation, O Lord!

¹²³ My eyes fail from seeking Your salvation
And Your righteous word.
¹²⁴ Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy,
And teach me Your statutes.
