⁷⁰ their heart is unfeeling ^(A)like fat,
    but I ^(B)delight in your law.

^27 (A)For this people's heart has grown dull,
    and with their ears they can barely hear,
    and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
    and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
    and ^(B)turn, and I would heal them.’

^10 (A)Make the heart of this people ^(B)dull,^[a]
    and their ears heavy,
    and blind their eyes;
^(C)lest they see with their eyes,
    and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
    and turn and be healed.”

¹⁶ I will ^(A)delight in your statutes;
    I will not forget your word.

⁷ Their ^(A)eyes swell out through fatness;
    their hearts overflow with follies.

^35 (A)Lead me in the path of your commandments,
    for I ^(B)delight in it.

^8 (A)I delight to do your will, O my God;
    your law is ^(B)within my heart.”
