³⁴ Yet their Redeemer^(A) is strong;
    the Lord Almighty^(B) is his name.
He will vigorously defend their cause^(C)
    so that he may bring rest^(D) to their land,
    but unrest to those who live in Babylon.

“See, I will defend your cause^(A)
    and avenge^(B) you;
I will dry up^(C) her sea
    and make her springs dry.

²⁰ But you, Lord Almighty, who judge righteously^(A)
    and test the heart^(B) and mind,^(C)
let me see your vengeance^(D) on them,
    for to you I have committed my cause.
