12 But they do not know
    the thoughts of the Lord;
they do not understand his plan,(B)
    that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
13 “Rise and thresh,(C) Daughter Zion,
    for I will give you horns of iron;
I will give you hooves of bronze,
    and you will break to pieces many nations.”(D)
You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the Lord,(E)
    their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

    in every land where they have suffered shame.

Then the Lord will go out and fight(A) against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.(B) On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,(C) east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split(D) in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a](E) in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come,(F) and all the holy ones with him.(G)

On that day there will be neither sunlight(H) nor cold, frosty darkness. It will be a unique(I) day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night.(J) When evening comes, there will be light.(K)

On that day living water(L) will flow(M) out from Jerusalem, half of it east(N) to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.(O)

The Lord will be king(P) over the whole earth.(Q) On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.(R)

10 The whole land, from Geba(S) to Rimmon,(T) south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up(U) high from the Benjamin Gate(V) to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate,(W) and from the Tower of Hananel(X) to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.(Y) 11 It will be inhabited;(Z) never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.(AA)

But for you who revere my name,(G) the sun of righteousness(H) will rise with healing(I) in its rays. And you will go out and frolic(J) like well-fed calves. Then you will trample(K) on the wicked; they will be ashes(L) under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.
