² Who can proclaim the mighty acts^(A) of the Lord
    or fully declare his praise?

³ Great^(A) is the Lord and most worthy of praise;^(B)
    his greatness no one can fathom.^(C)
4 One generation^(D) commends your works to another;
    they tell^(E) of your mighty acts.^(F)
5 They speak of the glorious splendor^(G) of your majesty—
    and I will meditate on your wonderful works.^[a](H)
6 They tell^(I) of the power of your awesome works—^(J)
    and I will proclaim^(K) your great deeds.^(L)
7 They celebrate your abundant goodness^(M)
    and joyfully sing^(N) of your righteousness.^(O)

⁸ The Lord is gracious and compassionate,^(P)
    slow to anger and rich in love.^(Q)

⁹ The Lord is good^(R) to all;
    he has compassion^(S) on all he has made.
¹⁰ All your works praise you,^(T) Lord;
    your faithful people extol^(U) you.^(V)
11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom^(W)
    and speak of your might,^(X)
12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts^(Y)
    and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.^(Z)

¹⁷ How precious to me are your thoughts,^[a](A) God!^(B)
    How vast is the sum of them!
¹⁸ Were I to count them,^(C)
    they would outnumber the grains of sand^(D)—
    when I awake,^(E) I am still with you.

⁵ Many, Lord my God,
    are the wonders^(A) you have done,
    the things you planned for us.
None can compare^(B) with you;
    were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
    they would be too many^(C) to declare.

¹⁴ And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
    how faint the whisper^(A) we hear of him!^(B)
    Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”^(C)

⁹ He performs wonders^(A) that cannot be fathomed,^(B)
    miracles that cannot be counted.^(C)
