¹⁵ And ^(A)wine that makes glad the heart of man,
Oil to make his face shine,
And bread which strengthens man’s heart.

¹⁹ A feast is made for laughter,
And ^(A)wine makes merry;
But money answers everything.

¹³ But the vine said to them,
‘Should I cease my new wine,
^(A)Which cheers both God and men,
And go to sway over trees?’

⁹ You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, ^(A)has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

¹⁵ The Lord of hosts will ^(A)defend them;
They shall devour and subdue with slingstones.
They shall drink and roar as if with wine;
They shall be filled with blood like ^[a]basins,
Like the corners of the altar.
¹⁶ The Lord their God will ^(B)save them in that day,
As the flock of His people.
For ^(C)they shall be like the ^[b]jewels of a crown,
^(D)Lifted like a banner over His land—
¹⁷ For ^(E)how great is ^[c]its goodness
And how great its ^(F)beauty!
^(G)Grain shall make the young men thrive,
And new wine the young women.
