⁷and I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youth, a young man void of understanding,

²¹Folly is joy to him who is destitute of wisdom,
but a man of understanding walks uprightly.

¹⁸A man void of understanding shakes hands,
and becomes a pledge in the presence of his friend.
