⁹ Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

¹⁰ so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

²⁷ Withhold not good from them to whom it is due when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

²⁸ Say not unto thy neighbor, “Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give,” when thou hast it with thee.

²⁴ There is one that scattereth and yet prospereth; and there is another that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

²⁵ The liberal soul shall prosper, and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

²⁶ he coveteth greedily all the day long, but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

⁹ He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed, for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

⁶ Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats;

¹⁴ Whoso boasteth himself of his gifts falsely is like clouds and wind without rain.

²¹ If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink;

²² for thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.

²⁷ He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack, but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
