^9 [a]Honor the Lord with thy riches, and with the first fruits of all thine increase.

¹⁰ So shall thy barns be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall ^[b]burst with new wine.

²⁷ ¶ Withhold not the good from ^[a]the owners thereof, though there be power in [thine] hand to do it.

²⁸ Say not unto thy neighbor, Go and come again, and tomorrow will I give thee, if thou now have it.

²⁴ There is that scattereth, ^[a]and is more increased: but he that spareth more ^[b]than is right, surely cometh to poverty.

²⁵ The ^[c]liberal person shall have plenty: and he that watereth, shall also have rain.

²⁶ He coveteth evermore greedily: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

⁹ He that hath a good ^[a]eye, he shall be blessed: for he giveth of his bread unto the poor.

⁶ Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an ^[a]evil eye, neither desire his dainty meats.

¹⁴ A man that boasteth of false liberality, is like ^[a]clouds and wind without rain.

^21 (A)If he that hateth thee be hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

²² For thou shalt lay ^[a]coals upon his head, and the Lord shall recompense thee.

²⁷ He that giveth unto the poor, shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes, shall have many curses.
