Proverbs 3:14-18
English Standard Version
14 (A)for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than (B)gold.
15 She is more precious than (C)jewels,
and (D)nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 (E)Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are (F)riches and honor.
17 Her (G)ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is (H)a tree of life to those who (I)lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed.

For wisdom’s profit is better than the profit of silver,
And her gain is better than fine gold.

She is more precious than rubies;
And nothing you can wish for compares with her [in value].(A)

Long life is in her right hand;
In her left hand are riches and honor.(B)

Her ways are highways of pleasantness and favor,
And all her paths are peace.

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
And happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is everyone who holds her tightly.
