    and to insight, “You are my relative.”

    Though it cost all^(C) you have,^[b] get understanding.^(D)
8 Cherish her, and she will exalt you;
    embrace her, and she will honor you.^(E)

    and applying your heart to understanding^(A)—
³ indeed, if you call out for insight^(B)
    and cry aloud for understanding,
⁴ and if you look for it as for silver
    and search for it as for hidden treasure,^(C)
