10 Me alegra mucho que, como hermanos en Cristo, al fin hayan vuelto a pensar en mí. Yo estaba seguro de que no me habían olvidado, sólo que no habían tenido oportunidad de ayudarme. 11 No lo digo porque esté necesitado, pues he aprendido a estar satisfecho con lo que tengo. 12 Sé bien lo que es vivir en la pobreza, y también lo que es tener de todo. He aprendido a vivir en toda clase de circunstancias, ya sea que tenga mucho para comer, o que pase hambre; ya sea que tenga de todo o que no tenga nada. 13 Cristo me da fuerzas para enfrentarme a toda clase de situaciones. 14 Sin embargo, fue muy bueno de parte de ustedes ayudarme en mis dificultades.

Thanks for Their Gifts

10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me.(A) Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content(B) whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,(C) whether living in plenty or in want.(D) 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.(E)

14 Yet it was good of you to share(F) in my troubles.

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

God's Provision
