15 that you may be blameless and innocent, (A)children of God (B)without blemish (C)in the midst of (D)a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine (E)as lights in the world,
14 (A)“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.15 (B)Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so (C)that[a] they may see your good works and (D)give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
45 (A)so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and (B)sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
12 (A)Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, (B)they may see your good deeds and glorify God on (C)the day of visitation.
3 See (A)what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called (B)children of God; and so we are. The reason why (C)the world does not know us is that (D)it did not know him.2 Beloved, we are (E)God's children (F)now, and what we will be (G)has not yet appeared; but we know that (H)when he appears[a](I)we shall be like him, because (J)we shall see him as he is.3 And everyone who (K)thus hopes in him (L)purifies himself as he is pure.
14 As obedient children, (A)do not be conformed to the passions (B)of your former ignorance,15 but (C)as he who called you is holy, you also be holy (D)in all your conduct,16 since it is written, (E)“You shall be holy, for I am holy.”17 And if you (F)call on him as Father who (G)judges (H)impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves (I)with fear throughout the time of your exile,
7 Therefore (A)do not become partners with them;8 for (B)at one time you were (C)darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. (D)Walk as children of light
9 But you are (A)a chosen race, (B)a royal (C)priesthood, (D)a holy nation, (E)a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you (F)out of darkness into (G)his marvelous light.
2 Therefore (A)an overseer[a] must be above reproach, (B)the husband of one wife,[b](C)sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, (D)hospitable, (E)able to teach,
23 Now may (A)the God of peace himself (B)sanctify you completely, and may your (C)whole (D)spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at (E)the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 so (A)that he might present the church to himself in splendor, (B)without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.[a]
5 (A)Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.2 And (B)walk in love, (C)as Christ loved us and (D)gave himself up for us, a (E)fragrant (F)offering and sacrifice to God.
26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, (A)holy, innocent, unstained, (B)separated from sinners, and (C)exalted above the heavens.
6 (A)if anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife,[a] and his children are believers[b] and not open to the charge of (B)debauchery or insubordination.
