Numbers 26:57-62

57 These are those counted of the Levites by their families:
of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites;
of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites;
of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58 These are the families of the Levites:
the family of the Libnites,
the family of the Hebronites,
the family of the Mahlites,
the family of the Mushites,
the family of the Korahites.
And Kohath begot Amram. 59 And the name of the wife of Amram was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bore to Levi in Egypt, and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses and Miriam their sister. 60 To Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 61 Nadab and Abihu died when they offered foreign fire before the Lord.
62 Those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, each male from a month old and older; for they were not counted among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

57 These are the ones counted of the Levites according to their clans: of Gershon, the clan of the Gershonites;[a] of Kohath, the clan of the Kohathites;[b] of Merari, the clan of the Merarites.[c] 58 These are the clans of Levi: the clan of the Libnites,[d] the clan of the Hebronites,[e] the clan of the Mahlites,[f] the clan of the Mushites,[g] the clan of the Korahites.[h] Kohath fathered Amram. 59 The name of the wife of Amram was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whose mother bore her for Levi in Egypt; she bore to Amram: Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam. 60 To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 61 But Nadab and Abihu died when they presented strange fire before[i] Yahweh. 62 The ones counted were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old[j] and above, because they were not counted in the midst of the Israelites[k] since no inheritance was given to them in the midst of the Israelites.[l]
