29 Then Moses said to (A)Hobab the son of (B)Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are setting out to the place of which Yahweh said, ‘(C)I will give it to you’; (D)come with us and we will do you good, for Yahweh (E)has [a]promised good concerning Israel.” 30 But he said to him, “(F)I will not come, but rather will go to my own land and kin.” 31 Then he said, “Please do not leave us, inasmuch as you know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you (G)will be as eyes for us. 32 So it will be, if you go with us, that [b](H)whatever good Yahweh [c]does for us, (I)we will [d]do for you.”

31 Moses said, “Please do not leave us, because you know where we should camp in the wilderness. You can be our eyes. 32 If you will go with us, whatever good the Lord does for us, we will do for you.”
