7 (A)Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have (B)sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; (C)pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
8 Then the Lord said to Moses, (D)“Make a (E)fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”

7 The people came to Moses(A) and said, “We sinned(B) when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord(C) will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed(D) for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole;(E) anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”
