³ you shall put out both male and female, putting them outside the camp; they must not defile their camp, where I dwell among them.”^(A)

¹⁴ Because the Lord your God travels along with your camp, to save you and to hand over your enemies to you, therefore your camp must be holy, so that he may not see anything indecent among you and turn away from you.

¹¹ I will place my dwelling in your midst, and I shall not abhor you.^{(A) 12} I^[a] will be your God, and you shall be my people.^(B)

²⁷ But nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.^(A)

³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,

¹⁰ If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive and welcome this person into your house,^{(A) 11} for to welcome is to participate in the evil deeds of such a person.^(B)

¹⁵ See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God, that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble and through it many become defiled.^{(A) 16} See to it that no one becomes an immoral and godless person, as Esau was, who sold his birthright for a single meal.^(B)

¹⁰ After a first and second admonition, have nothing more to do with anyone who causes divisions,^(A)

Warning against Idleness

⁶ Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister living irresponsibly and not according to the tradition that they^[a] received from us.^(A)

¹⁶ What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we^[a] are the temple of the living God, as God said,
