³⁵ Then the Lord said to Moses, ^(A)“The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall ^(B)stone him with stones outside the camp.”

⁵⁸ and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And ^(A)the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

^14 (A)You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who ^[a]profanes it shall surely be put to death; for ^(B)whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. ¹⁵ Work shall be done for ^(C)six days, but the ^(D)seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

¹³ And two men, scoundrels, came in and sat before him; and the scoundrels ^(A)witnessed against him, against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth has blasphemed God and the king!” ^(B)Then they took him outside the city and stoned him with stones, so that he died.

²³ Then Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they took outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him with stones. So the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹¹ For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. ¹² Therefore Jesus also, that He might ^[a]sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

²¹ Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; ^(A)so you shall put away the evil from among you, ^(B)and all Israel shall hear and fear.

¹⁴ “Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him ^(A)lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵ “Then you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Whoever curses his God ^(B)shall ^[a]bear his sin. ¹⁶ And whoever ^(C)blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall be put to death.

^2 (A)“Again, you shall say to the children of Israel: ^(B)‘Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who ^[a]dwell in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall ^(C)stone him with stones.
