⁷ Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its color was like the color of gum resin.^(A)

³¹ The Israelites called it manna; it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.^(A)

¹² and the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.^(A)

¹⁴ When the layer of dew lifted, there on the surface of the wilderness was a fine flaky substance, as fine as frost on the ground.^{(A) 15} When the Israelites saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?”^[a] For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat.^(B)

¹⁷ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone, and on the white stone is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.^(A)

²³ but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to gentiles,^{(A) 24} but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
