⁷ Now ^(A)the manna was like coriander seed, and its color like the color of bdellium.

³¹ And the house of Israel called its name ^[a]Manna. And ^(A)it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

¹² And the gold of that land is good. ^(A)Bdellium and the onyx stone are there.

¹⁴ And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was ^(A)a small round ^(B)substance, as fine as frost on the ground. ¹⁵ So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was.

And Moses said to them, ^(C)“This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.

¹⁷ “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden ^(A)manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone ^(B)a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’

²³ but we preach Christ crucified, ^(A)to the Jews a ^[a]stumbling block and to the ^[b]Greeks ^(B)foolishness, ²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(C)the power of God and ^(D)the wisdom of God.
