Rebuilding the Wall

3 Then ^(A)Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests ^(B)and built the Sheep Gate; they consecrated it and hung its doors. They built ^(C)as far as the Tower of ^[a]the Hundred, and consecrated it, then as far as the Tower of ^(D)Hananel.

^39 (A)and above the Gate of Ephraim, above ^(B)the Old Gate, above ^(C)the Fish Gate, ^(D)the Tower of Hananel, the Tower of ^[a]the Hundred, as far as ^(E)the Sheep Gate; and they stopped by ^(F)the Gate of the Prison.

³⁸ “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the city shall be built for the Lord ^(A)from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.

¹⁰ All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. ^[a]Jerusalem shall be raised up and ^(A)inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, ^(B)and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

² Now there is in Jerusalem ^(A)by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, ^[a]Bethesda, having five porches.

²⁸ And one of the sons ^(A)of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was a son-in-law of ^(B)Sanballat the Horonite; therefore I drove him from me.

³² And between the upper room at the corner, as far as the ^(A)Sheep Gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants made repairs.
