The ^(A)feet of him who brings good tidings,
Who proclaims peace!
O Judah, keep your appointed feasts,
Perform your vows.
For the ^[a]wicked one shall no more pass through you;
He is ^(B)utterly cut off.

^7 (A)How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
^(B)“Your God reigns!”

^(A)“How beautiful are the feet of those who ^[a]preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

⁹ O Zion,
You who bring good tidings,
Get up into the high mountain;
O Jerusalem,
You who bring good tidings,
Lift up your voice with strength,
Lift it up, be not afraid;
Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord God shall come ^[a]with a strong hand,
And ^(A)His arm shall rule for Him;
Behold, ^(B)His reward is with Him,
And His ^[b]work before Him.

¹⁴ “Glory^(A) to God in the highest,
And on earth ^(B)peace, ^(C)goodwill^[a] toward men!”

“Though they are ^[b]safe, and likewise many,
Yet in this manner they will be ^(A)cut down
When he passes through.
Though I have afflicted you,
I will afflict you no more;
