¹⁰ On that day, says the Lord of hosts, you shall invite each other to come under your vine and fig tree.”^(A)

²⁵ During Solomon’s lifetime Judah and Israel lived in safety, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all of them under their vines and fig trees.^(A)

²⁸ They shall no more be plunder for the nations, nor shall the animals of the land devour them; they shall live in safety, and no one shall make them afraid.^(A)

²⁶ They shall bear their shame, and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they live securely in their land with no one to make them afraid,^(A)

¹¹ You will say, “I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will fall upon the quiet people who live in safety, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,^(A)

²⁵ I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild animals from the land, so that they may live in the wild and sleep in the woods securely.^(A)
