Matthew 25:25-36
English Standard Version
25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, (A)you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You (B)wicked and (C)slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 (D)For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And (E)cast (F)the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place (G)there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
The Final Judgment
31 (H)“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, (I)then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him (J)will be gathered (K)all the nations, and (L)he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates (M)the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then (N)the King will say to (O)those on his right, ‘Come, you (P)who are blessed by my Father, (Q)inherit (R)the kingdom (S)prepared for you (T)from the foundation of the world. 35 For (U)I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you (V)gave me drink, (W)I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 (X)I was naked and you clothed me, (Y)I was sick and you (Z)visited me, (AA)I was in prison and you came to me.’
