²⁴You blind guides!^(A) You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

²⁴Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

¹⁶Those who guide^(A) this people mislead them,
and those who are guided are led astray.^(B)

¹⁶For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

¹⁴Leave them; they are blind guides.^[a]^(A) If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”^(B)

¹⁴Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
