³⁶ “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” ³⁷ And he said to him, ^(A)“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ³⁸ This is the great and first commandment. ³⁹ And ^(B)a second is like it: ^(C)You shall love your neighbor as yourself. ^40 (D)On these two commandments depend ^(E)all the Law and the Prophets.”

The Great Commission

¹⁶ Now the eleven disciples ^(A)went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. ¹⁷ And when they saw him they ^(B)worshiped him, but some doubted. ¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, ^(C)“All authority ^(D)in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ^19 (E)Go therefore and ^(F)make disciples of ^(G)all nations, ^(H)baptizing them ^(I)in^{[a] (J)}the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them ^(K)to observe all that ^(L)I have commanded you. And behold, ^(M)I am with you always, to ^(N)the end of the age.”

¹⁵ I ^(A)do not ask that you ^(B)take them out of the world, but that you ^(C)keep them from ^(D)the evil one.^{[a] 16 (E)}They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. ^17 (F)Sanctify them^[b] in the truth; ^(G)your word is truth. ^18 (H)As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. ¹⁹ And ^(I)for their sake ^(J)I consecrate myself,^[c] that they also ^(K)may be sanctified^[d] in truth.

²⁰ “I do not ^(L)ask for these only, but also for those ^(M)who will believe in me through their word, ^21 (N)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(O)they also may be in ^(P)us, so that the world ^(Q)may believe that you have sent me.
