³⁹ For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.’ ”^(A)

⁹ The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting,

All Israel Will Be Saved

²⁵ I want you to understand this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not claim to be wiser than you are: a hardening has come upon part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles has come in.^(A)

¹⁴ But their minds were hardened. Indeed, to this very day, when they hear the reading of the old covenant, the same veil is still there; it is not unveiled since in Christ it is set aside.^{(A) 15} Indeed, to this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds,^{[a] 16} but when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.^{(B) 17} Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.^{(C) 18} And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.^(D)

¹⁹ In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also will live.

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?^(A)

⁵⁶ Your ancestor Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day; he saw it and was glad.”^(A)

²⁴ I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he.”^[a](A)

Jesus Foretells His Death

²¹ Again he said to them, “I am going away, and you will search for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”^(A)
