^19 (A)“Again^[a] I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, ^(B)it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking^(A)

^7 (B)“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer

¹⁴ Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that ^(A)if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and ^(B)He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. ^(C)There is sin leading to death. ^(D)I do not say that he should pray about that.

To Live Is Christ

¹⁹ For I know that ^(A)this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, ^(A)anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. ^(B)And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. ^16 [a]Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. ^(C)The effective, ^[b]fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

²⁴ Therefore I say to you, ^(A)whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

²² And ^(A)whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

²³ “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. ^(A)Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

⁷ If you abide in Me, and My words ^(A)abide in you, ^(B)you^[a] will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
