If Your Brother Sins Against You

^15 (A)“If your brother sins against you, ^(B)go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have ^(C)gained your brother.

^17 (A)“You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but ^(B)you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you ^(C)incur sin because of him.

³ Pay attention to yourselves! ^(A)If your brother sins, ^(B)rebuke him, and if he repents, ^(C)forgive him, ⁴ and if he sins against you ^(D)seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

^13 (A)bearing with one another and, ^(B)if one has a complaint against another, ^(C)forgiving each other; ^(D)as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Bear One Another's Burdens

6 Brothers,^{[a] (A)}if anyone is caught in any transgression, ^(B)you who are spiritual should restore him in ^(C)a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

^15 (A)Do not regard him as an enemy, but ^(B)warn him as a brother.

¹⁹ My brothers, ^(A)if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone ^(B)brings him back, ²⁰ let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering ^(C)will save his soul from death and ^(D)will cover a multitude of sins.

^35 (A)So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother ^(B)from your heart.”
