¹² As you enter the house, greet it.

⁶ Thus you shall salute him, ‘Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace be to all that you have.^(A)

⁵ Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house!’^{(A) 6} And if a person of peace is there, your peace will rest on that person, but if not, it will return to you.

²⁰ So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God.^(A)

³⁶ You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all.^(A)

¹⁴ instead, I hope to see you soon, and we will talk together face to face.
