^21 (A)And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name ^[a]Jesus, ^(B)for He will save His people from their sins.”

^23 (A)From this man’s seed, according ^(B)to the promise, God raised up for Israel ^(C)a^[a] Savior—Jesus—

The Lamb of God^(A)

²⁹ The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! ^(B)The Lamb of God ^(C)who takes away the sin of the world!

^12 (A)Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

⁵ And you know ^(A)that He was manifested ^(B)to take away our sins, and ^(C)in Him there is no sin.

²⁰ and ^(A)by Him to reconcile ^(B)all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, ^(C)having made peace through the blood of His cross.

²¹ And you, ^(D)who once were alienated and enemies in your mind ^(E)by wicked works, yet now He has ^(F)reconciled ^22 (G)in the body of His flesh through death, ^(H)to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— ²³ if indeed you continue ^(I)in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are ^(J)not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, ^(K)which was preached to every creature under heaven, ^(L)of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Circumcision of Jesus

^21 (A)And when eight days were completed ^[a]for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called ^(B)Jesus, the name given by the angel ^(C)before He was conceived in the womb.

^31 (A)Him God has exalted to His right hand to be ^(B)Prince and ^(C)Savior, ^(D)to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

^31 (A)And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and ^(B)shall call His name Jesus.
