²³ He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit^(A) on the man’s eyes and put his hands on^(B) him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”

³³ After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit^(A) and touched the man’s tongue.

⁸ Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing.^(A) So they led him by the hand into Damascus.

⁶ After saying this, he spit^(A) on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. ⁷ “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”^(B) (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.^(C)

²³ He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on^(A) her so that she will be healed and live.”
