⁴ And Jesus said to them, ^(A)“A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.”

⁵⁸ And her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord ^(A)had shown great mercy to her, and they rejoiced with her.

⁴⁴ but supposing him to be in the group they went a day's journey, but then they began to search for him among their relatives and acquaintances,

The Parable of the Great Banquet

¹² He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give ^(A)a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers^[a] or your relatives or rich neighbors, ^(B)lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid.

¹⁶ You will be delivered up ^(A)even by parents and brothers^[a] and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.

²⁶ One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of ^(A)the man whose ear Peter had cut off, asked, “Did I not see you ^(B)in the garden with him?”

²⁴ And on the following day they entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends.
